Candied Pecans
By Jennifer Segal, Once Upon A Chef
This recipe. I first had these pecans at my friend Missy’s house during a Patio Happy Hour and they have been a favorite ever since! I love to read cookbooks, but I don’t usually follow recipes. However, this one is on the “No Reason To Deviate” shortlist.
Easy breezy, sweet and spicy. Takes about 20 minutes, start to snacking, to complete and worth every second of it!
Ingredients:
½ cup Confectioners' Sugar
¾ tsp Kosher Salt
½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
4 tsp Water
2 cups Pecans
Directions:
Mix sugar, spices, and water till smooth
Toss pecans in mixture until coated
Place on parchment lined cookie sheet
Cook 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees
Pull parchment off pan and let cool completely
