I was reminded a couple of weeks ago (By my brain, at 3 a.m. on a Tuesday) how easy it is to fall into busy and often productive patterns that infringe on our ability to find quiet space for ourselves each day.
This particular Tuesday came at the end of a roller coaster few weeks I felt I managed beautifully, and yet, I was exhausted and fighting an anxiety I couldn’t quite get under control. That is until my subconscious finally started screaming “I NEED A FREAKING BREAK!!” loud enough and broke through.
Why can’t these breakthrough moments happen during waking hours?
I’ll tell you why. Because we don’t get quiet long enough. That’s why.
It’s not rocket science and this truth doesn't change because we refuse to acknowledge it. But I digress.
Lesson learned… again? Always always always create safe and quiet space for yourself to clear your mind, breathe, and focus your energy. Even if it means being up at 6:30 am on a Saturday because you have work to do before the afternoon friend/birthday festivities.
This blog is a personal collection of my thoughts, wins, losses, memories, and crossroad moments. Almost all of which were hashed out around my kitchen counter and in my journals. If any of it resonates with you and you are ready to empower your inner badass and move into your Next with confidence, I can help. It’s time… Click the link and Let’s chat.
